Unwrapping Korean American IdentitiesNov 14 2014 - Nov 15 2015
The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) that helped create the exhibition is much like the patchwork bojagi – pieced together from scraps of fabric, using various shapes and juxtaposing vibrant colors. Korean Americans of different generations, ages, and backgrounds worked together on this project which gave them a common bond, creating a dialogue about what it means to be Korean American and what it might mean to future generations.
This exhibition was also created in partnership with the Korean American Historical Society as well as the artists Kyung Lim Shin, Moon Lee, Yoona Lee, Patsy Surh O’Connell, and Johsel Namkung.
